What we are doing to keep patients safe:
-
Masks
-
We are asking patients to wear a mask or face covering over both the mouth and the nose while entering and until they are seated in their treatment operatories.
-
-
Screening
-
Patients are required to fill out a short questionnaire to determine possible exposure to COVID-19.
-
-
Temperature Checks
-
The patient's temperature will be taken once seated in the operatory to screen for COVID-19 exposure.
-
Staff temperature is taken first thing at the office and periodically checked throughout the day.
-
-
Oral Disinfection
-
The patient will be asked to rinse with office provided Peroxyl hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse prior to exams and treatment once in the operatory.
-
-
Office Infection Control
-
The team has increased surface disinfection of highly used surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, ink pens, bathrooms, etc.
-
-
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
-
We are ensuring that all necessary and proper PPE is available and used by our staff according to CDC and ADA guidelines.
-
-
Patients With Known or Suspected COVID-19 Infections or Exposure
-
We ask patients with known COVID-19 infection or exposure to call ASAP for instruction and guidance regarding their appointment.
-
We are currently following the CDC and Ohio Department of Health guidelines regarding treating patients exposed to COVID-19.
